Ad-Aware

This program should be occasionally run by everyone who owns a personal computer and installs programs, most especially those which are given away in exchange for the display of banner ads. Ad-Aware compares the programs which are installed on your system against a database of known spyware. Any spyware programs which are found are listed. You are given the option of safely removing these programs from your system if you wish. Ad-Aware is free and not ad supported - my advice is to download it immediately and scan your system before wasting any more time.

• Tanstaafl - Spyware - Alexa Alexa is one of the more flagrant spyware products. My advice is to avoid it like the plague.
